Job Overview

Hiring an Automation & Integrations Engineer / Automation Specialist to join our team full-time, on-site! We're a nationwide organization dedicated to serving children with special needs, and we're looking for someone passionate about transforming manual workflows into efficient, reliable, and scalable automation systems.

In this role, you'll work closely with our marketing, sales, operations, and content teams to design, build, and maintain automations that save time, reduce errors, and increase throughput. You'll help us scale our impact by optimizing processes and integrating the tools we use every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and deploy automation workflows using platforms like Zapier, Make.com, n8n, and other leading automation tools.
  • Create intelligent bots for lead qualification, automated data entry, follow-up sequences, and content scheduling.
  • Design and implement automated outreach campaigns, CRM updates, and call workflow systems to increase team productivity.
  • Develop data capture systems, real-time dashboards, and error handling protocols to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
  • Document all automation workflows clearly and train staff on how to use and maintain automation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Stay current with emerging automation technologies and best practices to keep our systems at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience building automations with platforms such as Zapier, Make.com, n8n, or similar tools (required).
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data transformation, and system integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
  • Proven ability to create clear, detailed documentation that non-technical staff can follow.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Ownership mindset with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, and workflow optimization (preferred).
  • Passion for using technology to create positive impact in mission-driven organizations.
