Job Description
An administrative assistant should have strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking
skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. He/she should also be able to handle
confidential matters with discretion and good judgement
Tasks-
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and communicate professionally with clients and employees
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, order supplies, and ensure office is organized
- Maintain filing systems, databases, contact lists, and calendars
- Create, edit, and distribute documents as needed (memos, reports, invoices, etc.)
- Conduct research and compile information for reports as needed
- Support senior leaders and other colleagues as needed
- Planning and organizing events, and attending and assisting at events
- Performing basic bookkeeping, such as invoicing, expense tracking, and account reconciliation
- Provide general assistance and information to staff on the various platforms we use
- Assist with HR matters (contracts, onboarding, timecards, payroll, reimbursement requests, sick/vacation requests, ordering equipment/supplies purchases, terminations and all associated offboarding requirements)
Qualifications-
Preferred 1 year office experience minimum
Good communication skills
Strong writing and reading skills
Quick learner
Bookkeeping experience preferred
