Job Description

Summary: This position is responsible for developing, launching, and managing private label products, defining the brand's essence, and overseeing Amazon account setup and operations. The role requires a strategic mindset to drive product innovation, optimize listings, manage PPC performance, ensure account health, and foster customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with Amazon policies.

Minimum Required Qualifications: Must have a proven track record in e-commerce, with extensive experience in private label product development, sourcing, and account management. Previous involvement in Amazon is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong energy, multitasking abilities, a rapid learning curve, excellent teamwork skills, and the capability to assume leadership of a significant brand.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Lead end-to-end private label product development, from concept to launch, ensuring timely execution and delivery of high-quality products.
2. Create and articulate a compelling brand vision that aligns with the company's overall strategy and resonates with the target audience.
3. Develop and execute brand strategies specific to private label products, managing the brand's essence on Amazon.
4. Oversee all aspects of Amazon account setup, operations, and optimization, including listing creation, PPC management, and compliance adherence.
5. Conduct in-depth market research using various tools and software to identify high-potential products for sourcing and selling.
6. Establish and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and agreements to source high-quality private label products while ensuring competitive advantages and optimal margins.
7. Optimize product listings through comprehensive keyword research, compelling copy, and high-quality main images and A+ content to effectively showcase products and enhance customer engagement.
8. Implement and manage keyword tracking systems to monitor product visibility, identify ranking opportunities, and inform content optimization strategies.
9. Monitor and analyze PPC performance and overall account health, implementing data-driven strategies to maximize visibility and sales while maintaining profitability.
10. Manage customer reviews, ensure excellent customer service, and continuously gather feedback to drive product improvements.

11. Lead cross-functional teams in bringing products to market, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and meet project milestones.
12. Track product performance and KPIs to assess growth, identify areas for optimization, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth.
13. Demonstrate strong financial acumen, including P&L management and driving profitability for private label products.
14. Stay current with e-commerce trends, Amazon policy changes, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge. Additional responsibilities:
● Prepare reports and provide updates to the Director of Operations and Lead Brand Manager, including monthly forecasting.
● Continuously analyze competitor products and market trends to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
● Perform other duties as required to support the overall success of the private label brand portfolio.

This position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills,
excellent communication abilities, and a passion for building and growing successful private
label brands in the e-commerce space.

  • 3-5 years of experience managing a brand
  • They will be given a brand, must be able to build it from the ground up themselves. 
  • Someone who can do an analytical data dive on products.
