High-level leadership role acting as the business owner of the logistics function, responsible for overall performance, strategy, and execution across inbound/outbound logistics, transportation, warehouses, and service levels across multiple locations.
This role oversees approximately 60 warehouse/shop employees and 25 office employees, including managers, supervisors, and senior team members. The Director leads through a full management structure and is responsible for overall outcomes and performance—not day-to-day execution (such as scheduling individual deliveries), which is handled by the team.
The ideal candidate has already led logistics operations of similar size and complexity in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Responsibilities include transportation strategy, freight planning (domestic and international), carrier management, warehouse oversight, KPI performance management, cost control, capacity planning, and continuous improvement to drive on-time delivery and efficiency.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of logistics leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain
• Proven experience leading managers/supervisors and teams of 75+ employees
• Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inbound/outbound freight
• Experience managing carriers and third-party logistics partners
• Strong KPI, systems (WMS/TMS/ERP), and data-driven decision-making skills
• Proven record of improving cost, service levels, and operational performance
Senior executive-level role requiring prior experience owning a logistics function at scale and leading leaders in a high-volume operation.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8AM–5PM, Friday 8AM–1PM.
