Growing NYC General Contractor
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead projects from planning through completion. This is a high-level role focused on project planning, budgeting, and ensuring every detail is coordinated before construction begins while driving the project through successful completion.
Responsibilities
Lead projects from planning through completion.
Review architectural, structural, engineering, MEP, and shop drawings.
Identify design conflicts, constructability issues, code concerns, and potential cost impacts before construction.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, owners, and subcontractors.
Manage RFIs, bidding, budgets, contracts, scheduling, billing, change orders, and project financials.
Oversee NYC DOB filings, permitting, insurance compliance, and building code requirements.
Keep projects on schedule, within budget, and moving efficiently from start to finish.
Qualifications
5+ years managing large NYC construction projects.
Expert knowledge of architectural, structural, engineering, MEP, and shop drawings.
Strong knowledge of NYC DOB requirements, permitting, insurance requirements, and building codes.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to visualize a project from the plans, identify issues, and resolve them before construction begins.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
